MARQUETTE, MI – Marquette-based real estate developer, Veridea Group, LLC, announced the addition of Alysa Arwood to its Development Team as Development and Project Manager. The addition of Ms. Arwood expands Veridea’s expertise in urban redevelopment, placemaking and modern retailing.
Prior to joining Veridea, Arwood spent two years at Bedrock Detroit, which was the driving force behind the renewal of downtown Detroit with over 10 million square feet of redevelopment. Ms. Arwood’s most recent experience involved the transformation of the RiNo District in downtown Denver as part of EDENS Properties’ Development team. At EDENS she specialized in retail leasing, marketing, tenant experience, branding, and transitioning digital brands to brick-and-mortar stores. Her clients included Patagonia, Burton Snowboards and numerous Denver start-ups.
Veridea CEO Robert Mahaney said he was impressed with Arwood’s background and passion for community redevelopment.

A Michigan native, Arwood is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in History and Political Science.
