HELENA – The Residence Inn, located at 2500 E Custer Ave, will soon have a fresh, new look after undergoing a $1 million upgrade. Residents of Helena will also benefit from the upgrades as all existing reusable fixtures and appliances will be donated to the local chapters of Good Samaritan, Goodwill, and Habitat for Humanity.
The Veridea Group, who owns and operates the hotel, stated the upgrades will include an extensive renovation of the lobby integrating Montana-themed décor and furnishings, new and expanded meeting spaces and fitness facilities, new carpet in guest rooms and public spaces, new wallcoverings, and new guest room fixtures including beds, lamps, and furniture.
“We are excited to begin this renovation of Helena’s Residence Inn,” commented Robert Mahaney, Veridea Group President. “While our hotel is in very good condition today, this refresh will enable us to upgrade the hotel’s amenities and offer the hotel experience today’s travelers expect. The hotel is going to shine following completion of this renovation.”
The Residence Inn Helena was acquired by the Veridea Group, a hospitality management and real estate development group with operations in Montana and Michigan, in February of 2016. The hotel staff is led by Emmett Matthews, General Manager.
Upgrades are expected to start November 6th, with a completion date of April 2018.
